Did you uninstall the old drivers before you installed updated drivers? FWIW, the shiniest newest drivers typically don't do anything for the older cards, except keep you busy for hours trying to download them.

I used the 81.98 drivers until I replaced my 6200 with no issues at all. What version were you using?

The disk that came with it has 9.2 the ones I just downloaded are 93.71. Yes I deleted the drivers in the add/remove programs.

I think I found the problem. I was screwing around in the 3D settings and saw this. I turned it off and opened AH and it was clean, no little blobs everywhere. Thanks for all your help guys. :aok

I think that still points to a card problem, although this gets around it.  Aces High doesn't turn on the antialiasing -- if it is set to "application controlled" it still isn't used as far as I can tell.  Anyway, glad it's now working for you.

The ones that say "application controlled" is setup like that because I have about 10 games that I play, and don't have time to set them up one by one right now. Those are just the default settings that I just setup before takeing the pic. I'll go into the AcesHigh setup and turn it off if it does nothing in AH.

It's not that it does nothing in Aces High, it's just that Aces High doesn't turn it on even if you have it set to "application controlled".  (If you turn on antialiasing, it does have an affect in Aces High.  I like to use it when I'm on systems with enough graphics power.)

You shouldn't use FSAA on a Ge6200 at all, I'm sorry to say.

It's like entering a Pinto into the Daytona 500 and expecting it to keep up :)

If you look closely, he has the one just below antialiasing selected.  Unfortunately it looks blacked out on the screen shot, but if you look at the VERY BOTTOM where he has circled it in red, it is "Comformant Texture Clamping" that he just turned off.

Good luck and congrats!

Yes, I was aware of that. It was unrelated. :aok
