P.S.  ForrestS, I recommend that you try using a great deal of unnecessary smilies in all of your posts.  Oh, wait—it seems that you are one step ahead of me.  Keep up the good work!

Goodbye, ForrestS!  Don't forget that you're one of the two players permanently banned from Blue Sky, since you repeatedly broke the rules, ignored warnings, and harrassed the host after being kicked.

I know this might be a silly question but do you know what the range the guy shot you was at? Also, what type of shot did you provide him with? Were you turning at the time? I don't normally fly the N1k or the La7 but they do have wicked guns, especially at close range.

Thanks,

Actually, I've taken to firing single shots if I am close to the target and behind him.  It improves my gunnery.  I tap the trigger, and only one round comes out.  Just yesterday I did this to an Me-109 who was floating at slow speed and low gee in front of me, and with a single cannon round his wing came off.  I knew that damage models in Aces High II are very weak, but I didn't realize that "blew my wing off with one bullet" was literal.  I'm sure I can replicate it easily, if I have a cooperative target who will let me get close (or a green pilot who will unwillingly do the same).

Lately I've had much more fun in the DA then the MA and that never used to be the case. I'm not sure if it's because we don't see any big maps anymore or what but it quit frankly is boring to play now. If you do by chance see a single con away from a horde it's usually because it's a new fella that doesn't know what he is doing yet. It has become VERY RARE to find a good fight and it's a shame.:(

What do you think vets?

Since you asked.  Last time I fought you, you and a friend jumped me from on high.  If you really wanted a 1v1, you would have had your friend stay out. I suspect you want a 1v1 when you are defensive but when you are in the advantageous position you quite happily engage w/ numbers.

Please....how do you know it was my friend? Could have been some newb that don't listen. I'm constantly asking people to stay out on range. So, until you know all the facts don't go throwing accusations out there....I'd be happy to DA with ya to get some 1v1's I'm not saying I would win but I would be happy to give it a go even if it is to pump up your super uber cartoon fighter pilot ego.:D

Btw...there are few that I remember fighting in the MA and you aren't one of them so you must not be that special.:aok
I'm guessing your name is Steve in the game??? Not even sure who you are........................

I rarely recall ever seeing you in the MA...apparently you aren't looking hard enough because I think most rooks would tell you otherwise. I do however recall you in a hurri2C just about a week ago (i think it was you) and we tangled in between 45 and 41 over the water. First I was in a 109F....which is a GREAT high alt plane and bnz'r (which you guys seem to be implying) and then next time I was also in a hurri2C and we tangled for a bit until one some of the horde got involved and I ended up only getting an assist....WHICH is my point of this post.

I suggest if there are further accusations that you guys back them up with film because anybody can come in here and make stuff up.:aok

btw....the brief time we did get to fight 1on1 it was fun:D

I have my memory.  I could care less if you feel I need to "back them up".

Baaaa......i told myself I wouldn't get sucked into the pointless bashing and name calling that so many bbs posters fish for but look what you gone and did:D

I guess a simple question is too hard to answer on the bbs so it's not even worth asking...................
