I must be flying a different sim.I always manage to get in 1vs1 situations.Most of the time it's where I have a plane ill suited for 1vs1.The ones I lock horns with are usually grizzled old vets,that are flying around just looking for a picker like me,so they can hand me my arse!Sure,once in the while a run into a noob,our squeaker,but most times it's not the case.The other thing is if your a loner like me,and not flying with a squad,your chances increase mightily for a 1vs1.
I would like to address the other item that I disagree with.there is nothing wrong with a picker verse being a furballer.I do both,not well I must say,but when some clever picker drills me whist I'm turn fighting,it doesn't bother me,I figger he just done his job well.It takes a lot of skill lining up a gun pass on a unknowing victim,while you are checking for anti-pickers,that are seeking you out.then flying thru the horde w/o getting ho'd are being rammed.Fact is if you check out map,see where the horde is,and look for guys that are thinking the same way you are by upping a field away,and I can guarentee you will find loners like me.The game is what you make of it.I'd like to add that I don't worry about having someone check my six,thats my job,and I hope the victims I seek feel the same way,so that if nobody warns them It improves my chance for complete surpise.
