The wings didnt rip off because of the planes design, it probably was the best designed plane of the war, its becuase the factory that made the glue for the wooden wings was destroyed, so the German engineers had to use a highly acidic and weaker glue.
"The first flight of the He 162V1, by test pilot Gotthard Peter, was fairly successful, but during a high-speed run at 840 km/h the highly acidic replacement glue (the Tego-Film adhesive originally specified was no longer available as the sole factory producing it had been bombed) holding the nose gear cover on failed and the pilot was forced to land."
It was a great plane, rushed into service, without time to work out the problems, but like most German plane of its status, too few and too late to change the war or get it put on this game.

If the Tego-Film factory wasnt bombed it probably would have been much more durable!
