I am disappointed :( You guys ruin my friday night! For the first time in several weeks I am alone and can afford a good, encouraging flame-war!

It is silly to equalate a space agent and a car dealer, there is a lot more responsiblity of the russians to use proper equipment and not cut cheaply corners.

My Mother lives in Queensland, Australia, and wears slippers. I do wear boots 6 months in a year, and now I wear American desert boots, they are damn good in Russian winter.

How old are you? Does your mother still dress you?

How about some common sense? How do you think a mother can dress her 34 year old kid when she lives in Australia and he lives in Russia?!

:D

Capitalistic?!

Australia is a country of Victorious Socialism!

One day they, mates, will conquer every other country. I wish I'll live until that day. A whole continent of people who are like born in SPb, like me. "Who cares, mate?"

I find reading Boroda's posts more comedic if I insert the "Baghdad Bob" voice.

They fixed the computer, faulty power cable.  But Im sure Comrade Baroda will find a way to fault the Americans.

Did they fix it already?

I am just sitting here getting drunk...

About Americans to blame: imagine yourself working in a space-suit, standard pressure - 7km, special pressure (so you can bend your hands) is 12km, go try doing something under such conditions.

Guys were probably too exausted and noone to tell them to "ground themselves".  **** happens.

As I said before: no use blaming each other, they have to deal with the problem, and I am sure they'll fix it. They have two Russian engineers aboard! ;)

Perhaps grounding (earthing to our English friends) anything on ISS would be either difficult or disasterous.

I only quoted manuals from some ooold PC expansion boards: "Before inserting the board - ground yourself". Maybe it's Chinese English? They have some kind of a bus used as "ground" in electrical grid on ISS, don;t they?...
