Wow I've been posting like crazy today.

So I was flying around tonight in my usual rides (F6F, C.205, Ki84), and decided to try out the spit 8. I've never really messed with any of the spits, save the occasional seafire from the CV.

Wow the climb rate was awesome, and the speed was great too once I got it going.
What a great little all around plane....I think I'll practice it

I came to love Gertrude(my spit 8) a while back. So much so I named it

Good all around balance of speed, climb rate, maueverability and range.

hmmmm I thought Spits were actually used by the RAF in WWII, but if you say they're not real, I guess they don't exist.

I am a semi-noob skilless dweeb, but It's tough to get me outta the Hellcat anymore because it's just darn great. I've been flying for a year, and I used to like the spits alot, but it got boring. I know what you meant Superdud,and I was just joking. Maybe I should just get one of those "IN before the lock" pics and just post that next time
