500lb'ers with delay fusing or parachutes... Just enough to allow the plane to clear the blast area...

Right now I can fly in and out fairly easily between the trees, avoiding most of the flak, because they cant see me... But if I drop at 50 feet, my own bombs kill me... Thats major BS man....

Thats how they used them in reality!!!

It's not BS...that's what happened if you dropped bombs below the safe altitude.

I've used the A20 for awhile now. Typically for finishing off a CV or killing a spawn camper. It's ok at a fighter once you get rid of the bombs and it's surprisingly fast. It can out run quite a few fighters if you dive it to the deck and wep the hell out of there.

I find the B26 is comparable in some ways to the A20G. Not as manueverable, but man does it pack a punch.

The only statement you made that was correct was the part of you dying to your bomb blast after dropping a 500lb. bomb at 50ft.

The A-20 did not carry 500lb parafrag bombs nor did they drop said bombs at 50ft. The safe mimimum altitude was 300ft and they were 23lb fragmentation bombs of which the A-20 was able to carry 40 on wing points.

Skip bombing was different and with a delayed fuse, they did drop those sometimes at wave top level.

Then I guess the genuine WW2 films of A20's and B25's dropping 500lb'ers with drag chutes, right over the tops of straw huts in the SOPAC are fake right....LOL!!!!
