Bombs not working

I was flying an A20 with 4x500lb bombs internally and 4x500lb bombs externally.  I droped 5 on a tiger.  I saw the blast and noticed the craters created on the ground.  I hit the tiger directly each time.  I salvoed 2 and hit on both passes.  Then I salvoed 1 and had a direct hit.

Then a friendly in a tank shot at him and the enemy tiger died.  I did not even get an assist.  I have 2 films of this.  I filmed it once I noticed the enemy tiger had arrived again.  Film shows bombs hitting the ground right next to him.  I did not get the kill or even an assist on the 2nd time.  It was all in the same sortie.




In short, hitting a tiger with multiple 500lb bombs did not even get me an assist or a kill from an A20 in attack mode.

Will HTC need the film?

where you too low? i've noticed that whenever i drop bombs lower than say, 600ft, they dont arm.

I was there too..  One of my squadies dropped several on him too.  

Kilz, I thought you WERE the invincable tiger, that got killed by the tiger..??

I don't even drop on tigers anymore.  I have never been able to jabo a tiger.  All others I hit almost every time..

I was the Tiger there. His first bombs scared me pissless because I was listening for LTAR tank engines, not A-20 hummers or bombs. I heard one land in my engine compartment and saw half of the crater for the second one in front of me as I drove. The second time, though I evaded, one bomb went into my tank and the other landed next to the engine compartment and tread, I believe.

The next sortie I believed all the drops were misses, but that may have just been on my end.

Note that I never heard the "crunch" noise that you hear when a bomb damages (and generally kills) you. All I heard were the booms.
