That's it !

I pissed my father to get one during weeks (I was 12 in 1982) and buying oversea cryptic product was not easy as today :)

Then came over here in  2000 .  I forgot the name i originally registered with so i can't find the first tour i flew . There was first 2 weeker i forgot ( maybe rukee)  then 38ruk(tour 13 )  then 38MAW now back to rukee lol.

Hey BigJim (BoxBoy). I remember you, as well. Usually trading shots, but espcially a short period of time just before I went IAF. I bounced over to CLand to fly with Rasta - that boy could fly - and ran a few missions with you and some others. I remember WildThing as well. Good times...even as fun as some of the current sims are, none of it really compares to those early days.

I think part of it was because at $6 an hour, we were all doing our best to make every second count - flying and comaraderie.

Started with Warbirds 1.xx in 97 and switched over to AH in 2001 or 2002.
To bad my skill level doesn't reflect this. :)

Do you remember RangerBob? He is my best friend and we started flying these things together he is still around in WWIIOL I think.  I remember him and I having a big argument over wheather or not Confirmed Kill would be vapoware when it was just a BB anouncement

2002 with Aces High.

Started flight sims on Sega Genesis with F22 Interceptor, that game was bad ass.

Since then I've been flying flight sims, but AH was my first online flight sim.

EDIT:  Just looked back at my first tour and I logged 115 flight hours within a month.  That's an average of 3.83 hours a day - God Aces High was so cool back then.

The eagle flies up towards the sun
High above the fields of babylon
In one claw he holds an olive branch for peace
In the other, twelve arrows for his enemies

Thats funny Mrdr, cracked me up.

Looked up my score during my first tour, flew 211 sorties and got 29 kills, ouch.

I was even worse than I remembered.

I do recall my first sortie. I flew a p51d towards a cv furball. even though I came in high I died within a few seconds once I got near the furball.
