A26 seems like it would be a great addition the the AH aircraft inventory, although Axis could use a some heavy lifting bombers, but if we get another allied attack plane A26 should be at the top of the list.
But the 75mm cannon B25 sure looks like it will cause problems for tanks.

Im sure the A-26 was formidable in the cartoon-land EZ mode arenas of AirWarrior, which is where it gets its "fighter" rep from.

Pfft.

We don't need the A-26 any more than we need another jet.

All the more reason why it'd be nice to see what HTC does with the Vader.

Thanks, but you're not changing my mind.  hehe

Historically, the A-26 managed a 1:1 kill/loss ratio in air-to-air combat.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Might steal some kills with it from other GV'rs and folks dropping ord on the same tank.  If historical, you've got 21 rounds of 75mm HE rounds --- like those in the LTVA4 -- with a rate of fire of 4 or 5 rounds per minute -- say, on par with a T-34 in the game now, or a little worse?  Moving at up to 220 to 250mph on the deck at most.

Considering I've seen Sherman gunners take out Hurri-D's and IL2's with their main gun in the game, I don't see this as a particular problem for tankers.

And yes, I agree, damage model is a great improvement.  So is seeing an entire crew manning stations.  In my system, at best I only see one at any station most of the time.  To see gunners, pilot, and co pilot is an improvement to immersion.

Not a very good ratio.

For a bomber vs fighters that's not too bad. Also, IIRC this is NOT the A-26s sitting in formation fending off attackers with their turrets/gunner.
