All we need to do is take away the jobs that they come here for, you do that by huge fines on employers that hire them, take the profit out of hiring them and the problem is solved, simple as that.

Now will we do it?...no those companies have lobbyists that have the governments ear, the citizens who pay the freight dont.

The thing I don't think people understand is that Our "Leaders" want these people in our country....Lower wages mean higher profits for our leaders!!!(Higher stock prices for our "Leaders" that own huge amounts of shares in these companys!!)
    Theres always an underlying reason.....always!!!!:O

All they have to do is get a fake ID with someone elses SSN [pretty much ANY American] and they can get them. There are ALOt of citizens in this country that have thier finances screwed up bigtime from them doing that. My niece had a illegal Mexican woman in Georgia that had hers until my brother was notified by an ICE agent.

Fines only get passed to the consumer... Try mandatory jail time (minimum 6 months per illegal) for them and it might work.

I don't see what bearing the language of a radio station has on illegal immigration.  *shrug*

Depends' on the size of the fine, and what kind of business is charged, too. A small landscaper with maybe 4-5 illegals' might not have as large a fine as say, a corporate farm, but the landscaper might be forced to go belly up if he's only taking in so much. A corporation might be able to weather even large fines, especially some of the ones here in the San Jualquin valley.(Like Bolthouse farms, inc., for instance)

I'm not quite sure what part of "I'm not doubting you, Kaw" you didn't read, but, hey, we all have those days :D

Ever been to CT, by the way?  It's not exactly like we're free from illegal immigrants up here...  'Course, many of them are the good ol' uncle from Poland who came to visit for Christmas back in '99, so they don't get much press.  Too white, I suppose ;)

The fines cant get passed on if the companies competitors play it straight and don't get fined.

I am not sure who you put in jail, if you find an illegal at Walmart do you imprison the HR person who hired him or the CEO?

Archer Daniels Midland has a large enough market share to pass it on easily...

As for who to jail... All of the above.

lol

You guys are worried about the wrong people. It's the old, white American guys on the boards of large corporations and in Congress responsible for stagnant wages, no job growth in the last 7 years in any sector except the health care "industry," taxes and your stall up the economic ladder. Better keep your eye on them. ;)

No, they're too expensive and they complain if overworked.
