hehe,,,yes.

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

The nose guns are 4x .303 caliber MGs.

The rear turret is 2x .303 caliber MGs.

........ x4 .303's?

First off its h2h.

You do that in the ma your one bad mutuh, or your a dead man.
The a20 and boston are fairly the same, but ther boston doesnt blow up with one hit like the a20 does.

Ither way, you aim well you can kill just about anything no matter the gun ;)
But you know this.

Slash27 and I stooged around with the Boston vs P-38s and Ki-84 a while back.

He can testify that the Boston is remarkable for its size and weight. A good stick will whoop up on the unsuspecting. No one expects the Boston to engage in a dogfight, much less a stall fight. Thus, it can surprise the unwary. It has some serious weaknesses, but the average MA player won't know what those are, other than the weak battery of four .303 MGs up front.

try dogfighting in a stuka (realistic settings) and landing 4 kills ;)

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

it's not hard at all.  As long as the other guy is stupid enough to turn with you that is.  I love taking the Ju87 up and use it as a stall fighter in the MA, other than the Val, it's probably the best stall fighter in the game.

Can't recall who I did it with but I dueled someone in Ju87s one night.  We had a blast, most fights lasted about 10 minutes as we'd keep putting lead into each others planes but didn't have the power to take them out.  Think our duels only ended when we got too close to the deck and would pancake in while stall fighting.  Our last fight I think was around 20 minutes.

SBD is probably the best true "dog fighter" amongst the "attack bombers". Boston is a bit more nimble then the Havoc I think but the difference in gun package is pretty significant. As WW stated the plane has some significant limitations that make it very very easy to kill with relative impunity IF your co-e or better. It's relative fragility makes avoiding a high E A-20 fairly easy as well....but an
aggressive A-20 with some alt and E is hazerdous to ignore. Whats amazing is how tough the bird is, how easy it is to fly damaged and how easy it is to hit stuff. The flip side is just how fragile the control surfaces are. This is from the last day or two...was on autoclimb and afk and got a bit high and then a bit lazy scrubing E and then a bit crippled...but still got two (somewhat unusual kills:)) before returning
guppy's A-20 to him...

Try Dogfighting in a D3A1 and landing 4 kills with no bombs and no vulching, HO, Ramming, Stalling, or other nooby crap. It is very manuverable, making it easy to fly, also. 1 Spixteen, 2 lalas and 1 typhie. They didnt see it coming.:D
