I was only guessing, then I saw his name on the URL--Bill Moyers is an unpaid employee of the DNC, and is about as unbiased as Rush Limbaugh, except Rush doesn't pretend to BE unbiased:
Quote
“The entire federal government — the Congress, the executive, the courts — is united behind a right-wing agenda for which George W. Bush believes he now has a mandate. That agenda includes the power of the state to force pregnant women to surrender control over their own lives. It includes using the taxing power to transfer wealth from working people to the rich. It includes giving corporations a free hand to eviscerate the environment and control the regulatory agencies meant to hold them accountable. And it includes secrecy on a scale you cannot imagine.
“Above all, it means judges with a political agenda appointed for life. If you like the Supreme Court that put George W. Bush in the White House, you will swoon over what’s coming. And if you like God in government, get ready for the Rapture....”
“So it’s a heady time in Washington, a heady time for piety, profits and military power, all joined at the hip by ideology and money. Don’t forget the money....”
“Republicans out-raised Democrats by $184 million and they came up with the big prize: monopoly control of the American government and the power of the state to turn their radical ideology into the law of the land. Quite a bargain at any price.”
— Bill Moyers’ commentary on PBS’s Now,

Well at least Rush is finally starting to understand his party is going in the wromg direction.

As for tax dollars.. there are a lot of things I don't like my tax dollars spent on.. PBS is far from being one of them.

Except that the current Pres Bush has shifted so far away from the conservative "Republican legacy", that it's unlikely any other elected republican could do anything except change course back towards Republican conservatism.

I read it.

They can impeach without them being charged, just for the record.  The impeachment, in fact, is the accusation.

Regardless of your political affiliation, impeachment isn't going to stick.   Half of the arguments are specious, and most are rooted in differing opinions.

Here's what I'd like - for ONCE, the Democrats tell us what they will do to better the country....not spend all of their energy telling us what is wrong with Republicans.     You never ever hear them talk about their plans (with any substantive specificity).  You only hear them explain why the Republicans are ruining the country and why their plans won't work.

Democrats - what will you do to better the US?   (And, I accept you will cut and run from Iraq.  I do mean after that new chapter for Profiles in Courage).

Thank you .

I dunno, eagl. Veeps have been known to get the nomination after the second term. That would be an awful prospect, eh?

I haven't heard anything about Cheney being remotely interested in running for President.

Oh I dunno, this quote by you, in response to someone saying they had better things to do with an hour of their life than watch the boob toob you suggested should be watched, seems pretty clear to me:

Yea you might be right, one hour is far too much time to take, to worry about where your country is going. After all it's not what you can do for your country, but rather what your country can do for you... Right?

Hint: there are other sources of information about the same topics. If you knew how to read and comprehend, you'd be amazed.

No way I am going to watch an hour worth of such a vid...

It really doesn't matter at this point..   I don't care if they caught him eating a baby... If impeachment means that nancy pelosie and the democrats get more power I will just live with the eating babies stuff.

The man is almost out of office.   I lived through all the crap klinton did to the country for 8 years.    I really wanted him gone..   so I can see how a lefty would be upset with bush... Not that fond of everything he does myself...  hell... he shoulda fired every judge there was when he took office like klinton for instance..  shoulda worked harder on arresting the employers of illegals...

Lots of stuff.

He will be gone tho soon crockett and we will have someone new to hate.

If it's a socialist democtat... I will hate him.. if it is a republican or contstitutionalist... you can hate him.

The house impeaches, the senate convicts.  I doubt if the house would impeach either bush or "chaney"  unless there was clear and compelling evidence of serious unlawful conduct.  I dont believe there has been such conduct, or we would be in impeachment proceedings starting last year.  Even if there were an impeachment, I doubt the senate would convict.  It is too destabilizing to the republic, unless such criminal behavior were clearly treasonous.  Which I cannot fathom at all.
