Haven't had any "senior US intelligence officials speaking on the condition of anonymity have confirmed that Fidel Castro passed away..." statements in the US media yet, so I'd bet no.

From what I've heard about what happened and what he did medically, I'll be surprised if he isn't actually dead by the end of the month.

Peasant:  "Bring out yer dead!"

Storch:  "Got one here"

Castro: "I'm not dead!"

Peasant: "He says he's not dead"

Storch  "Well....he's very ill.  Come on, do us a favour"

Castro  "I'm not dead...look I can sing....Viva La Revolt......"

"THWACK"

Storch  "Thanks very much"

Peasant "No worries....BRING OUT YER DEAD"

The key is to wait another ten years after his so called death.

That way everyone can be good and sure, and by then he wont matter any bit more as a person or name in history.
