better damage modelling

perhaps better damage modeling like the B-25 would be nice for other aircrafts. like instruments damage, a broken altimeter, fuel guage etc etc.

also, when a fuel tank ctaches fire, i wish that the cockpit would be full of smoke and little flames. it's really annoying to shoot a plane, see it catch fire and keep on fighting with no "real" damage until he blow up.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Before we get smoke and fire inside the cockpit what we need is when you get a Pilot Wound there's blood on the gauges too.

Would like to have a way to cut fuel off to a certain engine wehn it catches fire to try and put the fire out.

How about instead of damage to control surfaces instantly disabling them they can be partially damaged, as in when they are hit reduce their authority by a certain amount based on the amount, type and velocity of the bullets that hit the control surface.

maybe add a feature so that right after a close call, either with the ground or a near collision, the pilot is unresponsive while he changes his shorts?

a message comes up in the buffer and tells everyone "(name) has just chunked in their pants, in a (plane) of (squad)". that way there they dont shoot you while you get some lean undies.

PanzerIV has just wetten his pilots diaper in a Fw190D-9, will now proceed to continue flying although slightly uncomfortable.

shift+(what number engine) then "e"
cuts out that engine
i.e. shift+3 then "e" engine 3 is shut off.

something i'd like to see that you don't get in this game are random malfunctions i.e. gun jams or drop tank pins frozen in place and have them repairable at a re-arm pad or something d:

Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

That doesnt necessarily cut the fuel, which is whats feeding the fire. Maybe he just killed the mags in that engine. No artificial sparks, but that fire will keep the fuel lit...

What you need to realize is that we don't have engine fires in Aces High. We only have lit fuel tanks.

Reduced engine output with engine damage. As the oil runs down and the heat builds up output slowly decreases giving you less power.

Ability to open the cockpit and take a look out. If you do so while engine is still spewing oil you go to total black for 30 seconds and half vision after that.
