When yea you wouldnt vulch those landing.
When if your opponent called out "Bingo ammo" you would give them a "good fight" and let them go land
When if you saw a 1V1 fight you would stay out of it and let the two duke it out by themselves.
And so on and so forth.
Have discussed exactly that in private a couple of times in the last few weeks.

I had a personal exemption to the bingo call if I was in a FW.  If a spit pinned me down and then went bingo without killing me, I wouldn't allow a free RTB, lol.

So far this tour Ive already been vulched while landing, but Ive also vulched someone while landing.  It all balances out :)

Well by that logic there's no purpose in killing anyone - lives, and planes, are unlimited (perks aside) - doesn't matter if the guy is upping, fighting, or landing.

Bottom line: A kill is a kill - and if it gets some holier-than-thou whine-dweeb's panties in a bunch, ALL THE BETTER!

Although it is a silly game, I'm not ashamed to admit that I like to play airplane.  It must be downright embarrassing, however, to explain to someone in the real world how there's this "code of honor" in a game that's all about blowing as many planes and people to smithereens as possible.  If you ever get upset while playing an online war-game, there must be something wrong.  If you don't laugh every time you play, there must be something wrong.

Ultimately, that's about the size of it :D

If the average AH player put in as much effort into real life as they did into this game, we'd all be millionaires....  Fine bunch of Walter Mittys we all are...

need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

I can kill a man in a fair dogfight, and if I think he's gonna start a fair fight I will kill him before he can.  Anywhere, anytime, anyway.

Kill him before he kills you, or barring that, he isn't allowed to kill you?

Nope.  It is kill or be killed.  What I intended by that comment was everyone (I assume) is trying to down enemy pilots regardless of the circumstance.  I know I am!  I will down an enemy plane high or low, landing or taking off, flying or sitting still, etc.  A new pilot like myself needs to take em as you see em.
