I personally think it would be a slaughter, as large furballs are common in the MA but basically unknown in H2H (limited to 8 people)  Add to that the calibre of pilot is way, WAY higher in the MA vs. H2H.

Do ya's think the H2H pilots would stand a chance?

Would their lack of fighting more than 3-5 opponents at a time in H2H be as large a handicap as I personally think it would be?

First of all: the  MA pilots would win. No doubt can exist about this. And those who have flown in both know this very well.

In second place, many of you proposed various handicap to level the odds. There is only 1 thing to do, to make it so: fight a 4 vs 4 furball. For the best H2H stick, the only really big handicap is SA. Fly 4 vs 4 and you'll have a really interesting fight, and maybe, to some of you, surprising (even though, I repeat it, MA pilots would win).

As for the top MA pilots, I've seen some of you mentioned people who doesn't fly anymore (at least, as far as I know), so I'm very surprised that no one thought about some on the most dreadful and dangerous I've ever seen, like:

Leviathn
Nomak
Furball
Morpheus
Sniper68

or other nasty opponents like

Biggles
Schatzi
Raptor
AKRaven

and so on... even if the first 3 names on the list are the really big gap.

Btw, in a 50 vs 50, I'd probably do like Croduh and join the ol' h2h crowd (even though, now, there is almost no one left of the ones I flew with).

EDIT: oh, I forgot. I'd really like to see this. Please, HTC, can you arrange it?

HTC pulled plug on H2H, therefore it won't happen. It's all hypothetical now.

Try top ranking guys vs furballers instead.

Yep, I know, but, if HTC wants, may give to the "chosen ones" from H2H access to arenas just for the event.

This event can be done in the SEA.  HTC just have to grant them access to that arena for this event.  WMLute or myself could host it.  Mainly WMlute since it was his idea.   They don't need access to the other arenas.  I actually surprised they don't have access to the SEA as its closed most of the time till a CM is there anyways.

I am not quite sure what you were trying to communicate, but if Killshooter is off then MA players could fire all of their rounds at each other without any ill effects.  At least I am pretty sure that's how it would work.  Also, what makes you think that they would shoot each other upon take off anyway.  Are you that upset that the MA talent pool far exceeds that of the H2H flyers or are you just being an idiot for fun?

Actually, if killshooter is off, there will be ill effects for whoever gets shot by his own team mates.

I was making a joke that us MA types get so fed up with one another so frequently that any attempt to congregate us in the same area with killshooter off would probably result in us fighting each other.

So, no, I wasn't being an idiot just for fun, but you might want to brush up on your reading comprehension skills before tossing out that word
