I chased a set of 234's ina  D-Hog for nearly 3 sectors.  As he was getting out of icon range he came on 200 to heckle me a little bit and tell me I was wasting my time and to eat his exhaust.  I caught up to him while he was making his landing approach and downed his formation.

Didn't get to land them, he upped an LA-7 and chased down my wounded, low fuel, low ammo bird

accidently pulled the stick to hard in a 38 went in to some crazy spinning stall causing the 2 guys behind me to collide into me and die. I landed 2 kills.

This is more of a practical joke.

The year was 2003, and the location was the West-Coast Mini Con in San Jose. We had about 30 or 40 guys.

Anyway, it's Friday night and we're all drinking heavily, and I get the idea that it would be funny to record the sound of taking damage (you know, pings and then things breaking off) as a MP3 file, and then feed that MP3 file into the Area VOX channel, and see what happened. I thought we'd need a few PCs and some audio cables, but then someone said it could be done in software.

So someone download and installed some software that let you feed any windows sound output into any windows sound input, and one of us killshot the other with 303s and 50s and we recorded the sounds of impending doom - it sounded like popcorn, with all those little bullets.

Then I went into the main area and looked for the biggest furball with the most friendlies, flew into the middle of it, started the sound software, pressed the VOX button and cried out "Look out! Check 6!!" and then played the MP3 into the Microphone input.

I didn't realize that there were about 20 guys behind us in the room looking over our shoulders.

Ho ho ho!

Huge laughs erupt around us as pretty much every friendly around us started weaving, dodging, and generally getting the poo scared out of them. Two augered by accident, I believe.

It all happened so fast that no one saw who was transmitting on VOX. Folks were chatting for a few minutes about all hearing the same thing at the same time, but not actually receiving any damage. Someone suggested that a joker was doing this exact trick on the VOX, but others said it wasn't possible.

We were giggling at that Minicon all night over this.

I almost shudder to think what other people reading this story will try next...

I had a similar thing happen.  

Chasing buffs once I saw they were headed for the mountains.  I stayed about 1.5k out to make sure they had little chance of actually hitting me but close enough to let them think they had a chance.  

Just before they hit, I typed into 200 "Don't turn around.."  I will assume they were too embarrassed to respond.

Funny thing two was getting 3 GV proxies in a C-47 just after landing troops at a V-base.  While I was unloading the drunks, several GV’s were trying to defend.  My squad mates kept them focused up, while I landed and rolled up to the map room.

Just after the map room went boom, the ack shredded the 3 remaining osties, I got the kills.

Your gonna think im lying, but this really happened (i wish i got this on film!!!)

I up a Hurricane 2C and headed for the furball close by. i get 4-5 kills and i was low on fuel, and closest base was a v-base. So im flying over the v-base (real low and slow) and a 109 dives outta the sky. I Didn't see him til to late, and somehow (not sure how) he clipped both my wings. Im falling completely vertical (plane is still level, sorta like landing a helicopter) so i deploy flaps and gear (i was over concrete).


Long story short, I landed verticly in a hurri and landed my kills. I just remember that 109 pilot whining on 200, no clue who it was though.

This one time, in band . . . . .. err wrong story.  I was over a field one time and tried the old goon ready to drop trick.  Since no one upped, I decided to hit a couple of guns.  Next thing you know, the field is deacked.  Well, no one is upping so I land my plane and park it on the rearming pad and turn off the engine.

Next thing you know, a nice shiny P51 is getting ready to roll.  I start my engine and get behind him.  We roll together with me following at D100 or less.  As soon as the gear game up I guess he looked back because he tried to pull up hard but couldnt, lol.  I think I put 200 or 300 BBs in him just to make sure he could still hear the pings in the tower,

In a furball and after downing my 7th assist, I finally get into a position where I can get a kill.  Low on the deck and slow, I chop the tail off a 51 and pull off thinking, "Yes, finally a kill".  Looking over my wing I watch as the 51 skids over the water comes to a stop and disappears.....  He gets the ditch.....  I go home and land my 7 assists.

Fighting over TT on the Isles map, get into a decent fight with some red guy. I'm not entirely sure what we were in, P51 and Yak, 109 and yak- anyway, different planes, comparable planes/pilots I guess. Fight gets nice and slow over one of the mountains. Suddenly, he skids in on the side of the hill, and I wheel hard around to put some rounds in him before he can ditch- and stall and crashland next to him.

getting 67 kills in an osti parked in the bushes near the runway..only 2 were legit as my turret and track got knocked out right away... i sat and snickered as the next 65 augered or dropped eggs to low..the cursing PM"S were an added bonus
