I know very little about animation. It always goes way too slow even when I have the frame delay at .1 sec/frame. Guess my PC isnt good enough to process and save the animation at that speed.

I recall being informed that an inanimate object cannot be possessive. Yet I find this from a possibly authoritative source.

So, I can say “a dog and its toy.” [Yes.]
The adjective possessive "their" isn't it used for human possessors only? [No, not just for human beings.]
Should I say “the dogs and their toys”? [Yes.]
or “the dogs and its toys?” [No.]
How about a table? Can I use the adjective possessive “its” for table even though a table cannot possess? [Yes.]
Can I say “a table and its four legs” or “a book and its cover?” [Yes, yes.]
How about “two tables and their eight legs?” [Yes.]
Can I say “I look at them” for “I look at the tables?” [Yes.]
Can "them" be used for inanimate objects? [Yes.]

The science of language was never my interest.

For years I had “it’s = it is” written in pencil on the top of my monitor. To this day I still have to picture that image to keep it straight.

I've never understood why you would use it's anyway. its only one more character, and one less key to hit to type it is.

If it's its, it's "its".
If it's it is, it's "it's".
