I could not have put it better myself, but then again, I didn't even try. Those types of derisive knee-jerk responses come too quickly in discussions like this. Ah well.

How about "Just another illustration of the many reasons Seagoon gave up posting here after having no perceptible positive effect for four plus years"

Hey look, it may even be my shortest post ever!

Was your goal to 'save' us?

Sounds a little arrogant if so.

Dont get upset...

You and your religion still have plenty of supporters here. Its just that unlike were i would guess you normally "preach" this is a more diverse community that does not automaticly accept what you say. I dont doubt that its easyer to get heard among your own. I have never in my life been in a community that has so many christian people so for the oclub is almost like going to church :D

Unlike at your church we dont come here because we share your chrisitan views so we may be a tough crowd, but that does not mean that we dont like you as a person. I think you have said many good things in the oclub. :)

"I don't see any Christians here expressing outrage.

You wanna see outrage? Stick it on a Quran or ridicule the Church of Global Warming."

well said....  the liberals are great entertainers... mean spirited but... funny as hell most of the time.   the problem is that they think that they have the exclusive rights to a sense of humor.    If you make fun of some pet thing of theirs they come unglued and suddenly lose all of their touted sense of humor.

It works the same for belief... if it is their belief... it is to be treated with respect... more than that.. it is to be treated with civility and compassion but most of all... you had better agree.

If not.. they start to lose composure... name calling and anger... mouth foaming and shrillness....

Look at the global warming thread... you can watch the series of events as I have described em...

Often.. their beliefs get tangled up... as things based on "feelings" are wont to do.   Take for instance their hate of religion and god.... their staunch effort to keep religion out of government... until of course it is hindu and some fight for "freedom".   until it is the dali lama or whatever... that is different.

That kind of stupidity (the sticker) is hardy worth the bits spent expressing my displeasure.  First amendment applies to belligerent idiots as well.
