Despite some  bad news, GM still got something under their sleeeeeves:D

2008 Cadillac CTS

Everyone should take notice, this is HIGH QUALITY stuff that GM is rolling off.  Possibly the 2nd most important lineup in Cadillac after the 3rd generation Escalade:aok

I`ll have to withhold my rating until I can see the car in reality.

the exterior is awful i'll give it a 3.  On the second pic it looks like the front end is the face of a transformer with a big grin.

After the first picture, I was hoping they hadn't done the same thing on the other side of car... but they did. So, I'd give it 4/10 and that's only because of the Alfa style dial enclosures.

It just looks a bit silly and out of proportion with the massive grill.

That being said. My sister in law had one.
After about the 14th trip to the dealer for assorted problems she "dumped the pos"

Said she'll never own another.

I drive a 1st gen with the 3.6L Sport Package. I've been waiting for the car to come out. I've driven the new 08 3.6L DI with the new Sport Package FE3..and wow!! Its got a bit more grunt 50 more ponies It the ride is a bit more stiff, handles much better. Still a bit of understeer if driven to the end of it limits.

The interior is A+ vs my CTS with its odd dash design. I think that why I got it in the first place. Sound system and the built in HD rocks.. You can store all your CD's or atleast 40gigs worth on it.

I'd have it in my driveway.. alas I need truck/suv to tow my race car. So a new one will have to wait.

I've never had one problem with mine..

Yes. Just glancing at the gap lines looks like low production tolerances.

it may just be me, but the basic style reminds me of the Chrysler 300 Monstrosity with caddie badges pasted on it.  3 out of 10 is all i can give it.

And low production tolerances dictate quality?
