Jaguar and Aston have both been milking that shape for at least 10 years now, with at least 4 models... In fact, I remember a very interesting episode of Top Gear where they had a car designer come in as a guest, and was asked to draw the 'next great sportscar'. So he went ahead and drew what was basically a DB9. Seems like that all they've been doing since the mid 90s.

What gives?

Cant agree with you there bob. When a design is that good and classic there is no need to do any massive change. Its still beautifu. Same goes for Porche 911's... classic shapes that never really goes out of style :)

I used to not care much for the design of the newest Caddy but I really like this one. I've read some really good stuff about it too. The interior is a big improvement on the last one. From what I read it is a very sporting vehicle, not the typical old man's car.

I give it a 8+/10.

I wouldn't own one though, I'm more of a Ford guy.

Was that the 1st generation CTS or the current generation CTS?
