For todyas eyes it looks horrible, but you can trust me, playing this in the
early '80 was fun, it was the same fun we have with todays flightsimms.

That's the sim I started on as well.  I remembering spending  hours flying with those graphics, lol, I'd forgotten just how dated they were.  Still have the game too, I can't bring myself to get rid of it.  :)

I keep all the old computer emulators and roms for an occasional fix of nostalgia.

Comeon, don't tell me you've never booted up an Atari ST emulator and run Sundog,  Carrier Command, or Starglider?

I know :)

I thought those were free downloads, they aren't free there any more. I'm sure I can find some free ones.

Here's a site that'll get you a running ST emulator: http://ahladnik.free.fr/

Roms shouldn't be too hard to find.

Click the label on the left emulatuers and download winston 4.

There are some games on that site also under jeux.

A lot more can be found here:

F11 and F12 to switch the mouse in and out and to go full screen.

You may find an Amiga emulator easier to use. The best which includes legal os roms can be bought here: http://www.amigaforever.com/

A free emulator can be found here: http://www.winuae.net/

You'll need the amiga kickstart roms though to use the free amiga emulator. Goolge shouldn't have much trouble locating them.

Ah, Bard's Tale on the Amiga, loved that game: http://www.rom-world.com/dl.php?name=Amiga&letter=B

I found this snippet from Wikipedia interesting...

In 1995 he founded Interactive Magic which later became iEntertainment Network. He left in 1999 and was subsequently asked to return as CEO in 2002.

Since his return IENT has redone the WarBirds Software, won settlements on their Internet Gaming patent, and developed a Military Consulting Division.

Thought he tried to stake a claim about HTC a while back?

My first Sim was on the TRS-80. It had vector graphics which blew my mind at the time.
