Not asking for anything new here really. However, AH2 has definitely fallen into redundancy in this area. Over and over we see "sfma", "ndisles" and "baltic". Granted these are smaller maps and I guess they are supposed to easier to reset with the 90/40/40 rule and the uncapturable bases. I also heard a rumor that the larger bases adversely effected frame rate. I tend to doubt this one however as it is the number and proximity of other players which has the greatest effect on frame rate. With burning objects being a close second. Either way, since we get a reset every week any way, why not mix in the big maps. If anyone at HTC thinks the players dont want them run a test. In each of the LWAs run one big and one small. "Trinity" "ozkansas" and "festerma" were lots of fun, like to see the again.

Trinity, ozkansas, and festerma were among the best maps this game ever had. Lord only knows why we are stuck with the substandard maps we have now.

Bring back the good maps.

Can't wait for FT (Mid Mesa) to come back into the arenas. Been too long since I last flew in it. I would like to see more maps though, since the update (which took away almost all the maps) there has been 1 new map added.

Did I miss some hidden message the last update?

So far as I know all maps that were in rotation still are. And if memory serves me correctly, Mid Mesa was up in Mid War the day of the update.

And I know Skuzzy has at least one more map in his possession. If and when it makes it online is up to him. I haven't communicated with him in a couple of weeks so I don't know the status.

As much as I like making terrains, this is the time of year that I usually go into a holding pattern. First because it's the beginning of the busy season for our business, second because this tends to be when major updates to the TE take place. So, it will probably be next year before I start again.

A lot of the big maps were removed last I looked. The true FT map and the "No one will win this map" are two I can think of off the top of my head.

Mid Mesa I know has been in all arenas a couple of times, I know that. I was just saying I haven't flow in that map for a while now and it's my favorite one.

All big maps have been removed. We are playing small maps only since the arena split.

I see what you're saying. I misunderstood the first time.

It's been over a year since the arena split and the switch to small maps. I think we can put any idea of large maps coming back to rest. That is at least for now.

Hitech mentioned something to the effect of, "Until we get settled into the new layout and everyone gets used to it, the larger terrains will be out of the rotation."

So far they still seem to be, yet with all the requests for larger terrains to be placed back into the rotation I feel HTC will get "settled in" in about 2 weeks.

i might be wrong but when HTC do a terrain update and change the terrain tiles ect i believe that all the maps have to be redone,with the new terrain items.
if this is so then all them larger maps would take a long time to redo.

As NHAWK said there are a couple of maps submitted in to HTC that they are looking at

The switch to the small maps was just down right stupid. They all need to be put in file #13.

As of late Iv seen the same turain so often Im starting to feel like I live there. SAD turely sad. Its becoming redundent and boring taking the same base every day defending the same area every day. I know the tarain to well now and every day its the same plases getting hit same plases being taken same furball in the same place. all due to it being the same map. If I never see "compello" again I will be fine with that. it seems like its bean the only map in blue for going on a month now. Pleas bring back some of the old maps, Pleas!
