I think I ranked 18 last month and I hardly ever land. I usually fight till i'm dead.

I use Lancs to dive bomb because unlike you i'm not scared.

I don't need superior #'s to hide behind or within to get a kill.

I make my own advantages

And I never run away or very far because unlike you sir, I peiss standing up .

Your tactics may work and I bet you learned them at a very young age while on the playground.... I new wusse's like that...... some became cops. Just an observation.

I think you will find the savvy pilots like Shawk, Skyrock, Shrek, and Lusche etc will always find a way to rank well under any situation. Rank has its privileges, you can take cv's away from newbs. I'd like to see rank play a part in SB command.

Overall, I like the new setup.

The scoring has always mystified me.

I figure it's just a fundamental lack of skill on my part. So I've never paid much attention to it.

I took a quick peek at the stats of the top 10 or so after breezing through some of the posts in this thread.
What I read describes another world. 11 kills per death plus 7 to 11 kills per hour or so.

to them I say.

Point A I dont fly lancs. and rarely fly bombers.
If I did I wouldnt dive bomb lancs because its a lame tactic and has little to do with historical accuracy (its was RARELY done)

You better check my rankings before you talk to me about my tactics.

the tactics I mentioned are the ones I see some of the so called "top" players use.

Rarely alone without people to protect them. Rarely caught at a disadvantage
and rarely sick around when in one

I personally couldnt give a rats butt about the illusion of high rank
I've tried a couple of times but got bored within an hour or so.

Dredlock,

Whole heartedly agree with you on your last posting of tactics. I'm just saying that some pilots will figure out how to obtain rank.

As for me I like to mix it up and yet I'm not above a pick. I see Trikky, Ghi, and others up under touch circumstances and duke it out. You have to admire those guys.
