When I lived over in Italy for 4 years, I ran into the problem of lack of numbers during my "prime time to fly".  Flying with guys like Kazaa, Lusche, Batfink, Trikky and all the other Euro guys it was tough to get a good front line fight going.  But you did learn how to fight one on one pretty well. When I came back to the state it wa slike learning to fly all over again as the target that was 1 or two planes.... it multiplied like gremlins and I had about 10 to fight then.  It almost takes a differen flying style in a sense to fly in th Euro area compaired to stateside... just my .02

I like what I see so far !

Being a MIDWAR player, I like what's goin' on !
I'm seing NEW players poping in obviously trying to keep up with scores !

I've be looking into previous tours and paying attention to "FIGHTER" ranks of the pilots I have just encountered.(some of them were TOP RANKS !)
Being just an average stick, win or lose I gave them a good scrap !

Well guys, some of those boys getting top scores in late arenas have a hard time fighting a 1 vs 1 scenario !
I think that can only conclude that reality is hiting them hard. They find out that their fighting skills need some polishing !  :lol
Cherry picking and getting cheap victories in late war populated arenas is sometimes different in MID and Early war. No friends to set'em up for ya !
No friends to save your butt !:lol

I'm saying this with respect ! Many top sticks are good whatever arena they play :aok
But there's a good bunch outhere that when they encounter any risk, they fly away and never look back !

Anyway, I hope this move keeps on bringing new players !

Why do I have a feeling that it's gonna be H2H all over again?

(In the Wishlost forum)
Thread - Scores

"HT what's the deal? Why'd you seperate the scores? I'm not being ranked #1 in LW anymore. Go back to having scores set the same for all arenas so I can look cool in the LW! "

I musta popped into Mw at the wromg time...the last 3 times I've been in there---90% the people there are hording undefended bases in a largely empty arena

Another way to help deter that is to go into those arenas at those times & make them work for it by fighting them. Sounds like a bunch of whining in here to me. Y'all man-up & do something about it if you don't like the milk-runners.

It's not alway easy to do and can be a bit frustrating at times. Yesterday I had three fruitless sorties. A tank ditching when he saw me upping, bombers turning back when noticing my darbar, one fighter circling 5k above my base running back when he saw me on runway ;)

Fact is, with such a low population, you can't force a fight. It's always possible to attack at the other front, and you can switch only once per hour.
