Mic help.
« on: October 13, 2007, 11:14:08 PM »
Edit: Score, I got it to work.  Amazing what stabbing my computer with my mind can accomplish.

On another note, whenever I used to (and still) press the Mic button (Only the first time, or if I wait a long time in between) it would cause a major kick in lag.  Wondering if there is a way to fix that.   I'm not running a high end computer, heck, I barely have enough Ram for Aces High.  But I don't mind.  You guys think that might be the problem?

Running bare min. stuff in the background, cut down to 22-23 programs, 2%-3% when I open Aces High.  :/

go the to start menu, choose run, enter in the box:

dxdiag

under the sound tab there is an option fro hardware acceleration. set it to 1 notch below full and that should help a ton.
I don't know what to put here yet.
