Fairey Swordfish (It served throughout the war despite being outdated in 1939)
Fairey Barracuda (good enough to sink the Tirpitz, it needs to be in the game to add another CV launched option.)
Fairey Fulmar (CV launched fighter)
Some would work better than others. Id love to see the Barracuda or the Swordfish in the game. The P-39 NEEDS to be in the game. LaGG and MiG deserve a spot too. CV launched fighters are also needed but most people dont bother with anything but a hellcat or a seafire (Sea Hurricane for the WIN).
I agree with every single plane on that list. Just make the Peashooter available in Late War and I would go to the grave singing praise to HTC.
I remember the HS-129... It's in IL-2... I used to laugh at how it looked, with it's HUGE gun right under the nose. It looked like some huge shotgun and its curved barrel at the end. Like it was going to hunt wabbits. It just looked so silly.
But in my heart, through my mockery, I wanted to fly it. That Cannon just looked like fun... Didn't it have it's sights on the outside of its cockpit...? New broken thing? "He shot my sights off!"
P-39/63. Yes. I would probably fly it some bit. It's just a nice looking aircraft, it and its car like doors. And Cannon of fail, yet... awesome. I also voted for it when we did the vote thing. :/
The Salamander... I don't know much about it. But I have this bad image of people pulling .5 too many Gs and its little wings just... Going thier own ways. It would be a very hard ride to master, maybe even more so than the 262. Also... Bailing out would be a mighty hazard to ones health. Mind, I suspect we'd just get tossed out of it like we normally do in everything else. But I am pretty sure it had an ejection seat. Thing. Because... that engine is right above and behind the cockpit.
Also, did the Supermarine Walrus do anything in WW2...? Cause... We
could use a seaplane... And I think the Walrus could be fun, at the least because of its name.
