HE-111 (an Alternative to the JU-88)
BF-410 (Advanced version of the 110)
Henschel Hs 129 (Another Anti Tank aircraft)
Heinkel Salamander (Late War Alt to the 262, could be perk'd like the 262)
Petlyakov Pe-3
Polikarpov I-16 (Early War)
LaGG 3
SeaHurricane
P-61B 'Black Widow'
Boeing P-26 Peashooter (Early War Arena)
Bell P-39 Airacobra (Or the P63)
Mig 1 or 3
blackburn skua
Fairey Swordfish (It served throughout the war despite being outdated in 1939)
Fairey Barracuda (good enough to sink the Tirpitz, it needs to be in the game to add another CV launched option.)
Fairey Fulmar (CV launched fighter)

Some would work better than others. Id love to see the Barracuda or the Swordfish in the game. The P-39 NEEDS to be in the game. LaGG and MiG deserve a spot too. CV launched fighters are also needed but most people dont bother with anything but a hellcat or a seafire (Sea Hurricane for the WIN).

I agree with every single plane on that list.  Just make the Peashooter available in Late War and I would go to the grave singing praise to HTC.  :aok

I remember the HS-129... It's in IL-2... I used to laugh at how it looked, with it's HUGE gun right under the nose.  It looked like some huge shotgun and its curved barrel at the end.  Like it was going to hunt wabbits.  It just looked so silly.

But in my heart, through my mockery, I wanted to fly it.  That Cannon just looked like fun...  Didn't it have it's sights on the outside of its cockpit...?  New broken thing?  "He shot my sights off!"

P-39/63.   Yes.  I would probably fly it some bit.  It's just a nice looking aircraft, it and its car like doors.   And Cannon of fail, yet... awesome.  I also voted for it when we did the vote thing. :/

The Salamander...  I don't know much about it.  But I have this bad image of people pulling .5 too many Gs and its little wings just... Going thier own ways.  It would be a very hard ride to master, maybe even more so than the 262.   Also... Bailing out would be a mighty hazard to ones health.  Mind, I suspect we'd just get tossed out of it like we normally do in everything else.  But I am pretty sure it had an ejection seat.  Thing.  Because... that engine is right above and behind the cockpit.

Also, did the Supermarine Walrus do anything in WW2...?  Cause... We could use a seaplane...  And I think the Walrus could be fun, at the least because of its name.

If we get a seaplane it would have to be the Rufe or PBY Catalina.

I'm up for any or all of those planes, and to add to the CV list how about the A6M3 Model 32 or the A6M6c for a truely deadly CV plane that might make more people interested in the Zeke.

Id really and i do mean really, like to see more Early war planes put in. Sure its no fun later on if your flying a pea shooter vs a mustang but when you go into the EW arena it gets semi boring with just 10 planes or so to fly.

Also CV planes are needed. We've got alot of land based planes but how many CV planes? Hell id even be in favor of adding the old converted 109's and 87's if it would get more people to use the CV as a bombing/attack platform rather than a mobile furball launcher.

While it would be nice to see more Japanese planes, this one wouldn't be as popular as the existing Zekes.  While it does have increased power and a better roll rate due to the clipped wings, it comes at a price of decreased range due to less fuel it can carry and less manuverability than the other Zekes from the increased weight.

Great list! :aok

I'd add Ju-52, just for the sake of an Axis option for troops.

Doesnt look like it was that good of a fighter at all. I mean id be in favor of it if it were not for the fact that it would be rendered useless in anything but the early war arena.

I'll add one to my list thought

the Douglas A-26B/C "invader"

Though I'd rather see the p-39/63 first

You should read up on the I.A.R. 81c.  Then you'd know that at middle to low altitudes it was quite a good plane.  Not fast like the FW190 it resembles (lot of allied pilots mistook the I.A.R. 81c for the FW190) but it was quite maneuverable.  In the MA enviroment, most fights are in this altitude range.

If thats so Ack, id be for it. But look at the armament issues it had. It would be combat inferior with its 2 to 4 .303 clone guns.

Of course you could add in the 20mm and 13.2mm gun options to get around this but it might lead to some issues with ammo running dry too fast.

Id also submit the Ju 87G as a plane id like to see.

It was so, just ask any surving P-38 drivers that took part in the Ploesti raid and ask them about the I.A.R. 80c and what it was capable of.  I don't think you'd hear bad things about it from those surviving Lightning drivers.

In the hands of a capable pilot, at medium to low altitudes the plane would be a viable threat.

And the I-16 would be?

You seem to be doing a lot of barking about a plane, that you know very little about.

I fly early war/mid war planes and easily handle late war planes in the LWA.   Please, do not speak for other's on "where it would be rendered useless".    We do NOT need another La, Stuka (no thank you on the 37mm HO wagon) or Me.

You seem to spend your time in bombers and jabo craft.   I enjoy the fighters, the I.A.R. 81c is more than enough for the LWA.
