Veterans Day

http://www.military.com/veteransday/History.htm

First of all I'd like to Thank Each and Every Veteran...

Thank you for your sacrifice and love.
Thank you for the blood, sweat and tears that you had devoted.
Thank you for enduring the Family separations..as hard as they are.
Thank you for being there.

THANK YOU.

The words "Thank You" are never enough.

Mac

When your born at the base hospital and raised on base housing, go to base schools and your old man spends 30 years flyin USAF, every day is veterans day!

Thats how it is for me, but for the rest of the crowd, a special day is nice too :)

Back at ya Mac.

to those who have, are and will be serving. Most especially to those forever on duty, thank you.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Sent a card to my Father-in-law, and a big thank you goes out to all who have served...

But it seems kinda hinky to start a thread saluting yourself.

A big <> to those that served!

I started a different thread with a ton of pics from today's Vietnam Veteran's Parade here in D.C. because I didn't see this one first.
