It's probably not working for you because it can't figure out what squad you're in at the moment.

At one point, there was some "wierdness" where if you were in the Lobby, you didn't see some (or maybe it was all) squad members - you had to actually go into an arena.  

Did you only try from the Lobby, or from an arena?

However, it was not working for me either tonite from the lobby.

I was able to get it to work once I entered an arena.
