I find him amusing in a wait for cable kind of way. I though Elf was great, and felt they could have done a lot more with the Anchorman premise. Talladega Nights was a solid bust on the whole Tom Cruise formula of the 80s.

I think Will Ferrel, George Bush, the drummer from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Darrell Waltrip are all the same person.

Don't forget Old School, that was probably he's funniest movie ever.

Yes, but he wasn't the lead character for Old School.

Maybe not the lead, but a main character, and a hilarious one at that.

I'd rather have a root canal without anesthesia than watch anything with Will Ferrell. What passes for comedy these days sucks.

It wasn't meant to be.

Will Ferrell, and what passes for comedy in his movies, and a lot of the other crap out there, reminds me of the stupid stuff 8 year old little boys used to giggle hysterically about sitting in the back of the bus. It wasn't even funny when I was 8.

I've ALWAYS found Bill Cosby to be very enjoyable.
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

With the exception of most of his TV show as Cliff Huxtable, I agree.

I thought the snl skit where the teleprompter goes out on a news cast was a hoot
