Hitech had the AI going yesterday for a little bit. Let me say the things a beast. It was getting ganged like 20 v 1 and still managing to get kills. It can fly in the black out and doesn't miss its shots.

I would like to go head to head with one, wish hightech would say when and where hes going to have it going. maybe it can be a early present befor i ship out tuesday lol, and if its that good i guess alot of us can kiss our pilots goodbye

if it can shoot with accuracy during the blackout it needs to be remodelled. Sure some pilots will hit a percentage of those shots BUT, you don't want it to feel unrealistic.

I'd say 5-10% of my kills are shots from blackout or blind shots, but I think HT wanted it to be like you're going against the best the enemy has to offer, and I like that idea!  I've fought it, and 1 vs 1, you have to fly absolutely perfect to even get a shot on it, no lazy arse moves or you're toast!:aok

HMmmmm.... this whole AI stuff has me thinking about that old Star Trek episode where they have this M-5 Multitronic rig that automates the ship...  Don't like it... just ain't right....  I mean, sure, maybe they can program it to fly around, do various maneuvers, and even shoot properly...  But will it ever WHINE on 200 and SQUEEK on range ?
