but nothing happened, it would be helpful if Aces High would make an authenticating patch to fix to any errors in the game or to add any useful thoughts by current players of the game.

Let me get this straight... You fly bombers, and you want to make it easier for fighters to find you, track you and kill you... Other issues aside, I would think that  with all the "hats" you wear driving buffs (pilot/bombadier/gunners) that any further help for the fighters would be UN-desirable.:lol

I think it has to do with adding more realism to a sim. Unfortunately this isn't a sim, it's a cartoon game. (at least most of the time)

Don't listen to all the naysayers jack. Contrails will be included in the next Authenticating patch that fixes any errors in the game and adds all useful thoughts by the current subscriber base.

Just give 'em Two Weeks.

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

They are actually a function of temperature rather than just altitude. So, do you want an entire weather aspect to the programming? Because contrails will form at different alts (temperature will vary at a given altitude from day to day for example) depending on the temperature at various altitudes on that day.

This is obviously an unfair statement, though.

Like, landings, for example. Landings and take-offs are the most complicated and dangerous aspects of actual flight. But does AH2 recreate every second of necessary detail in depicting such complicated actions? If a game isn't willing to model headwinds and bearings and stuff, should it not be able to model "landings" at all?

Ofcourse not. Simplified and easy as it is, landings are in the game.

What does it really add to the game? IMO, not much. It'd be a waste of bandwidth IMO, especially considering we mostly have radar.

Visual realism. "God's in the details".

It's a very, very powerful and compelling tool.

Buff pilots would think this is cool for all of 2 minutes, and then whine that they can no longer see the con sneaking up on their 6 because it hides in the smoke, and demand for it to be removed.
