People complain about what they percieve as gamey stuff like turning down object datail in GV's, turning down engine sounds and even cutting engines.

Why doesn't anyone ever complain about GV's (heavy armor no less) racing down hills at 80-100 mph in neutral?  I've never ever seen this one posted.

Because it usually just brings the enemy quicker in to my gun's range.

Same goes for people who turn graphics off just to get an advantage seeing people in GV's across the map, those "elite" tankers who couldn't stand 5 minutes with graphics on now can kill 20 at a time

nope just means someone made it real soft for you. i have gunned one down with a P51D on useing the 50s but thats cause someone hit it with like 7500 pounds tho :D

Regardless of my Rig I still have my graphics turned down, I learned from the past doesn't matter how good your rig is, only takes 1 lag spike to get killed from (for some reason flying on 1024 graphics) with 1600x1200 I do fine till I enter serious combat then it lag spikes me at times, can't figure it out.

I turn the graphics down to 512 it never lags and frame rate is always over 99

Great just tie it in to vis range. If you can't see the trees at 2k then you wouldn't see the gv now would you.

or just tie it to, if GV is behind a object that would obstruct seeing it, then even if u turn textures down, u still cant see it.


and as for CVs being gunned down.   HT needs to make CVs and Cruisers
impurvious to any gun fire below 40mm.  no way a airplane will sink a
capital ship with guns, just too much armor and mass.
