Sausage is expensive.  When I buy a 12oz roll, its about $5.

Someone mentioned hashbrowns and fried green tomatoes for breakfast, now that sounds good!

rool it out and add some vegys and cheese to it

roll it up into a pinwheel like this:

smoke it in a smoker with hickory wood for 3 hours add some cheese on top.

this fatty turned out to be a big winner,, it was good so dont talk about fatties unless you know how to cook or smoke one and show pics of it:D

the vid was to slow for my dialup connection so i didnt see it so i hope im on topic here to make some mouths water for a jimmy dean sausage thats smoked.   probly not on topic at all but im shure some are ready to show p at my door for some of this tho:D

I just bought over 50 pounds of homemade German sausage.  Our German Family Society Youth Group makes it as a fundraiser.  It’s the same stuff that I grill at the GFS Oktoberfest; all parents help out somehow.  It has no preservatives; my wife is allergic to the junk that they put in store bought sausage, but she can eat this.  I think it digests better than regular sausage or hot dogs; I certainly don’t get that, “I feel like I just ate 20 hot dogs” feeling.  It tastes way better as well and we use it in all kinds of meals.

my grandfather used to make our sausage.  I used to help him.  believe me when bejamin disraeli said it is better for the common man not to know how laws and sausages are made he was correct.  they still taste great but basically it's all the stuff that I would now throw away after slaughtering a pig.  I will eat sausage but it is nasty to make.

Wow, Mav...

Just out of curiosity, the next time you stop in to drop off your car insurance premium, ask them how much business they do in a year.

I do AFLAC, which is supplimental health & life.  Company #151 on the Fortune 500 list.  I'm proud of it.

I help people from going broke after they get the bill from the 20% they their major medical won't pay...much less the $5,000 deductable.  Over 80% of all bankruptcies are from medical bills--of people who HAD major medical.

I will have sausage stuffing at Thanksgiving...but just the one time a year...tradition.
