I just knocked up a wallpaper for anyone who is interested.

Screenshot taken in game and un-altered, just added some aged-photo effects.

It's not up to the standard of the likes of Biggles and other wallpaper creators here.... This was just a knock-up for fun while taking a break from skinning my 109.

The image was originally 1280 x 1024, it seems that my photo hosting site saw fit to resize it for me.

That's not possible, Spitfires didn't cover American Bombers as they flew into enemy territory.

Spitfires were used to cover American bombers into 1944 I believe until the p-51D became more prominent.
