I want small creatures to periodically cause the mechanical failure of aircraft and ground vehicles. This can be done in 2 ways:

1.)    Just have the failures happen spontaneously, or at times when the component involved is undergoing especially high levels of stress.

2.)    Actually have small monsters appear and tear things apart, causing progressive damage.

I'm certain this has already been modeled, if one has had enough to drink.

Hey.. so, instead of ENY, instigate BAC..

You can only up LA7s and Spixteens if your BAC is .02 or higher..

I'm liking this...

This is easy!

Just dive to about 550 mph

Then pull up as hard as you can.

INSTANT failure

Instant, but not spontaneous.

I don't want to have to work for it. I want it to be surprised by it. At the very least, I'd like the failure to happen well before the aircraft reaches its specified technical limits.

Or I would like small monsters.

One or the other.

I wouldn't mind some "spontaneous" damage. The only example I can think of off hand is the Yak with the spud gun, it was know to have engine problems due to the recoil of the gun. Perhaps with certains planes and conditions problems like this could occur.
