I have always liked the President, and have stood behind his decisions, and defended him against overly harsh criticism...I want him to do good. I really do. I think a lot of that has to come with the fact that I don't want to see some of these lunatic politico's, anti bush haters (particularly the extreme left), be correct and be able to say "I told you so". It's not that it's Americans vs. American's, its just I disagree with their tactics and their approach with handling situations and expressing themselves, that I don't want to see the President end up beeing as "dumb" as they claim...
I don't know anymore...If I could go back, I certaintly would not have voted to re-elect the President, and as each day goes by, I think he is more of a mistake.
This is coming from somone who had the Republican propoganda shaft stuck as far as it goes...I can just imagine how people less interested or involved with politics or a party feel.
The only candidate I support right now is Senator McCain. Unfortunately, I don't think he has a shot in hell of getting the nomination, and I don't think the GOP really has much chance against the dems in the general election if Hillary is nominated.
Too many people are fed up and want a change of party...
My prediction is that if Obama gets the nomination, GOP wins, however if Hillary gets the nomination, Dems win...I really think she will end up with the nomination, even with everything going on over the past 2 months, but particulary they past couple weeks....
I'll even go further and say that I think she will end up doing a pretty good job as President...I just cant see her being the first woman President, and allowing herself to perform anyway but to perfection, or at least making an attempt at it....
Then again, I couldn't see Bush being incompitant for years, but opinions slowly change.
Too be honest...I'm more interested in my local government and how their decisions influence my day to day life.
