Wrecking the economy?

There is a difference between getting a splinter in your finger and chopping your hand off. Add strict rules and regulations and the companies making money will find a way to do it in an enviromentaly friendly way. If they are unable to do so they will die but was prolly doomed in the first place as they lack the ability to adapt to changes in the market.

Sure, most companies will adapt to the changes required to make things more "Green". The issue at hand is that these changes will cost money. You can guarantee that the company will not foot the bill. So, it will be either the public directly paying for it, or indirectly through government subsidies. I worry that the resulting economic impact could be huge.

Don't use their terminology. Don't use "Could" when you know that the effect WILL be huge.

Huge. Probably won't be able to afford internet. Oh stuff it. Let's melt it all down and sell it as "pure water." It'll boost the economy. And while we're at it, no taxes ever again for all O'Club gun owners too.

I highly doubt it will ever be implemented. In case most people have not realised, this Global Warming thing is just a political ploy and will be forgotten after the next election if a democrat gets in office.
