Check this out!:D

Atlantic Salmon steaks about 1/2lb each topped with grated ginger, garlic and pepper with olive oil, honey and lime juice baked for about 10min at 180°C (350°F)
Served with mashed sweet potato with garlic, ginger, coriander, a touch of curry powder and lime juice and steamed broccoli and carrot on the side with butter, lemon, garlic and mustard sauce.

Presentation could be better, but all up I think it took 25 minutes to make

MMMmm sounds great! The last fish I cooked was catfish dipped in buttermilk then rolled in Zataran's and deep fried. Good eatin'.

The last big meal I cooked was at Thanksgiving. I baked a 12lb chicken with cornbread stuffing, collard greens, yams and string beans.

Expensive is right.
I so badly need a new set of knives, but I think I need a new computer more, I'm having AHII withdrawals:lol
Come to think of it, I can probably get one mean gaming machine put together for way less than the cost of a decent set.

Nice looking Salmon there. Sweet potatoes make me gag though(Literally).

Frankly, I love to cook. Not a culinary expert though. I'm most famous for my Chuck Wagon beans. We eat them with tortillas. Not a pretty meal but hey my kids still talk about how good that stuff is. I'm always looking for new recipes when I have time. My last venture was Hudson Bay Bread. It's good for hikers. Has high energy. Once made pumpkin pie from scratch. I mean I processed the pumpkin and everything. Don't know how in the world those pioneers ever figured that recipe out. Lordy, I ended up with gallons of pumpkin pie mix.

Does making beer count. That's my next experiment.

Oh, make some mighty fine fried chicken too. Secret ingredient is electric skillet and just some chicken seasoning along with some other kitchen spices. My kids love that too.
