Head Position request
« on: December 20, 2007, 03:56:12 PM »
I would like to see the head positions save not just vertical and horizontal adjustments, but also pan and tilt. I think getting some of the functionality of mouselook or TIR with a simple key press would be a good addition to the view system.

In some aircraft and vehicles, it's difficult to see some guages, and having to switch from snap view to pan, adjust head position, pan down, pan left, peer at the readout, then switch back to snap, and recenter your view seems a bit complex for just looking at an instrument, especially considering that I can start or stop an engine with a single keystroke, despite that being a far more complicated process.

Suffice to say, I think this would be a good and rational addition to the already robust view system.
