Request for next plane to be updated...
« on: December 19, 2007, 03:02:33 PM »
It is one of the most used ground attack planes in Aces High. It will also be useful in CT as it was used extensively as a bomber destroyer in 1943 and spring 1944.

The Messerschmitt Bf 110G-2 (and C-4 if you want to).

Anyone else with me on this?

^--- flies perfectly fine. We've got planes with certain FM ... "issues" ... that would better be "fixed" sooner than the F6F.

I wish they add Me 410, but won't happen for now...

Here's how I think the Bf 110 series should be

Bf 110C-4
* battle of britain version, same engine as Bf 109E.  Delete the "b" variant of Bf 110C-4.

Bf 110F

Bf 110G

The Hellcat has some serious FM issues too... 20 mph too slow at best altitude, a roll instability that did not exist in the real aircraft... Incorrect ordnance load-out... Shall I go on?

F6F would be a great choice.  So would the N1K2-J.

The La-5FN/La-7 are in dire need of a graphics update.

Hellcat definitely needs to be able to carry both bombs and DTs at the same time. Something my squad and I'm sure many others would have appreciated in FSO this past month!

Personally, I want the Ta152 to be updated next.

In a vector based flight model, does the actual model of the aircraft affect the flight performance?  Seems like the aircraft model is merely eye-candy--the flight model would be a different update.  I don't think the more crude, angular curves of the fuselage, for example, matter with respect to the aerodynamic performance of the aircraft.

For example, since its currently in the game with both an old and new version of the aircraft model:  does the F4U-1C "fly" differently than the F4U-1A (extra weight for the cannons excepted)?
