Yes the Yak is ugly, but luckly your usually 3 deep in cons to care about how dials look. :D

Hello Gixer,

old graphics keeps away not only new players but even old hands. Many friends of mine would like to fly online, dont have another good sim, but are tired of AH2 old graphic style. You cant blame them. I've been playing AH since 1999 first beta and I know its engine is probably the best but, gawd, the dress is awuful!  And is getting more and more awful year after year.

Yes I agree there hasn't been any great leaps and bounds from the 90's especially if you fire up and go for a joy ride in FSX. For as long as I can remember it's always looked very dated. But again luckly there is the odd good fight and plenty of mates to keep you coming back.

The Yak9-U is my baby.

But it needs some upgrading. A nice, clean cockpit that flows would be great. Damage modeling seems pretty good though, IMHO.

Please, HTC, add a vodka bottle under the seat. :D

9-T needs a cockpit remake as well.

And while your at it, give us a Yak-3 and a Mig-1/3. :noid

I notice now the interior of the Lavochkins look bad also.

The VVS aircraft desperately need new interiors, they are screaming for Soviet gauges and cyrillic characters littering the cockpit.

English is the most important subject you will learn at school. No matter how smart you are in other areas if you can't effectively communicate your ideas you won't be heard.

Well said!  Splitatom, when you get to the working world people will have a knee-jerk reaction if you cannot write effectively and clearly.  For example, if I see a resume with any spelling or grammatical mistakes, they don't get an interview.  I also see plenty of people with degrees in biology, chemistry, or some other science, who cannot write worth a damn because they never thought it was important--and it hurts them professionally.

Sorry for the digression from the main topic, but we're doing you a big favor.  We will confront you with this every time you make a post without commas, periods, and capitals.

Agreed the La7 cockpit is actually all wrong! (well the dash anyway)

It was not the same as the La5FN's

and lavochkins did not have metal frames all around the armoured front glass

Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
