Interesting Huckabee quote
« on: December 26, 2007, 09:47:06 PM »
"If your not getting flak, your not over the target"

heard him say this in an interview in reference to the increasing criticism he has been receiving since becoming more popular among potential voters.

I got a bit of a chuckle out of it.

Please the guy is just another corrupt SOB whom tries to cater to the Religious Right for votes.

He's nothing more than a nut job. He thinks society is going down hill and the reason is.....  "Abortion, environmentalism, AIDS, pornography, drug abuse, and homosexual activism have fragmented and polarized our communities."

Yet he apparently didn't have any issues putting pressure on a local Sheriff to keep him from prosecuting his soon to be Serial Killer son. Yea his son whom tortured and killed a dog. (shows he has great parenting skills)

The only people supporting him are the Religious Right conservatives and there is no way he would ever get enough votes to even come close to winning. Hell I bet Ron Paul would have a better chance and RP only has a snow balls chance in hell.

You're right Crockett.  Nothing frightens me more than a candidate like Huckabee mobilizing the Seagoons of the country.

This is the great thing about Huckabee.  Both the Republican right like Drudge are attacking him, as well as the liberal left.   This is really quite amazing.   He is getting it from both sides.   And rarely on any real issues, too.   Just mud-slinging.

The only people who appear to like Huckabee are level headed moderates who are listening to his voice of reason and hope for America.

While I admire his conviction, I question his motivation.

rpm nailed it.  Huckabee is a man of honest conviction on some issues...on others....his convictions change daily.  That brings his motives into question.

Like Clinton, he sometimes accepts the credit for accomplishments that are not his own, while refusing to accept responsibility for his actions that have gone awry.  In addition, he has a thin skin, and can be petty when criticized.

Do not, however, underestimate him.  He was one of the most popular governors of Arkansas to hold the office in the last fifty years.

"Sometimes we talk about why we're importing so many people in our workforce. It might be for the last 35 years, we have aborted more than a million people who would have been in our workforce had we not had the holocaust of liberalized abortion under a flawed Supreme Court ruling in 1973."

(- Huckabee in a speech before the Family Research Council this year.)

I pray Huckabee does not win the nomination.

Yep, they're almost as funny as "Fitzgerald" and "Obama."  We here in Arkansas have gotten a lot of fun out of the "Huckster."

Guys, I was just passing that quote along because I thought it was a apt description for catching hell on just about any occasion.

Im more of a McCain man.  I think McCain has more of the right stuff to be president than any of the other SOBs out there.

Just my opinion.......all I get is one vote.
