Yup.  Gotta wonder when and how a peaceful society might ever exist.

When she was president of Pakistan her government was supporting openly the Taliban and the Al Kaida. With this help the terrorists of Taliban were nearly able to win the civil war. Only few regions were under control of the Northern Alliance.

I am sorry for the human Bhutto who was killed today and for her family.

But I have to admit that I am not so sorry that now a supporter of the Taliban and the Al Kaida is no longer available to get a new chance to become president of a nation which has nuclear weapons.

Interesting. Al Queada and the Taliban had vowed to kill Bhutto. Recently and publicly.

Nevertheless the fact remains that during the time, when she was president of Pakistan she was not only corrupt (like so many pakistani presidents before and after her) but she was supporting massively the Taliban and Al kaida during the Afghan Civil war.

Would you trust someone like her that she wouldnt repeat the same way of politic ? Now this danger is no longer existent and its only a minor question if she was killed by taliban, Al Kaida or Musharrafs agents.

If the killers were from Taliban and Al Kaida this would just be a new Frankenstein-monster-case.

Bhutto helped to create the monster Taliban/Al Kaida and finally has become their victim.

Most ironic indeed.   She is the only woman in history to lead a Muslim nation.

Yet, the Taliban believe in oppressing women.   So if she had lived under their rule, she would have been uneducated and relegated to only being a mother and housewife, only able to leave her home under escort of a male relative.  She could not have held a job of any kind.

This is really, really bad.

Things are going to get ugly in a hurry.

I see a civil war happening in a country that has nuclear weapons.

A) It looks like Perez Musharif had some sort of hand in it.

B) Musharif will blame Al Khaida

C) Civil war in a country where Al Khaida lives in the Afhani-border mountain country and has free reign in regions of the country where Musharif is afraid to enforce law...is going to be a mess.

A portion of the Pakastani military supports terrorists, and terrorism.

If the invasion of Kuwait was a matchstick...

The assination of Bhutto will be a powderkeg at a gas station.

It isn't that I trusted her, or supported her. She was Prime Minister, by the way, not completely sure of the parliamentary make up of Pakistan, but a quick perusal of the papers shows a difference.

You mention the Taliban, Al Queada, and Musharraf, but not Butto's original opponent Nawaz Sharif. Bhutto proposed negotiations with Musharraf, Sharif refused.

Give us a link showing her to be President and her support of Taliban Al Kaida.

Why is this such a revelation?  This region has seen nothing but killing and civil war.  They have been killing each other for the last 2000 years, probably much longer than that.  Bhutto's assasination will ignite nothing but more of the same.

Please provide evidence that shows Musharraf had a hand in it. I'm not saying he didn't, but you're saying he did. I'd like to see the evidence.
