Been flying the mossie alot (mostly so I have a better shot of killing m00t:)){not that it helped much:cry }[but there's always next year:aok ]

Overall I think the A-20 is a far superior "down & dirty" plane then the mossie but no question the combination of speed and firepower make the mossie a much better bird for the MA overall...

yes my favorite ride is the F4U-1........to bad it seldomly finds its way in the AvsA arena to where I can fly it against Ki-84s, Ki-61's, Zero's, Niki's more often.....

usually the IL-2 is in there at 2 or 3 but I've been doing more fighter sweeps this tour so the 262 got in.

Just for giggles I checked the 38G stats this tour

I have 175 of the 892 P38G kills which is roughly 20%

I have 148 of the 1213 deaths of the 38G. That's about 12%

Not sure what that says

Not sure how to factor in my flying ability or lack therof into it as well as my tendency to plow into the mob head first without thinking

Pumpkin colored plane: 107 kills, 43 deaths.
Shoot-em-in-the-face CAP breaker: 30 Kills, 23 deaths (probably the majority of my 12 ditches too, so that K/D ratio is a bit misleading).
Flak Pit on tracks: 23 kills, 13 deaths, and I still can't hit squat compared to my squaddies.

17 lbs of love: 19 kills, 4 deaths (8-9 of those kills vs. low 110s

)
Spitty V: 12 kills, 9 deaths. Maybe one day I will be man enough for the XVI.
