Yes, I'm a sore loser. I just had my butt handed to me in battle-ship by my 9 year old.  I'm not playing him THE REST OF THE NIGHT!!! And maybe not tomorrow.  He can torture his brothers instead.

So how many of you are sore losers? :lol

Now ask my wife and she'll agree with you that I'm a sore loser.

Mom, don't take this the wrong way. But, most of us here are not women.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

I gotta call Wurz out on this... he's probably the only one I know that could walk barefooted across a Cow Pasture and not say "Dam" or "Chit".

When it comes to card and board games, my girlfriend's son is a terrible sport when he loses.  We used to play "Sorry" every so often, and he was ever so gleeful when he was pushing the rest of back ...but took great offense when the favor was returned.  He was much the same way a few nights ago when we played UNO (hate the new cards, btw).  I suppose its part of being 9.

Speaking as an La-7 driver :aok loosing isn't a problem hahahahahaha :rofl

Just kidding...  I honestly could care less who wins... but it is fun to land kills!

Seriously though.. prior to the demise of h2h I found a nice groove and was winning often... and some guys who came in cold from the MAs to fly in h2h and didn't know me exhibited intimidating and very scary reactions to that. :O

The mature h2h regulars (some of which were MA pilots) watched me develop over time from knowing how to fly, but knowing nothing initially about dog fighting, to gaining some skill and they were very cool and supportive about it and helped me.

I am intimidated to fly in the MAs now... some have too much self-esteem at stake to tolerate a woman shooting them down or competing with them and are very critical of me. It only takes one or two bad apples to totally spoil it.

I wish h2h, but not free h2h,  would be turned back on... it was just a friendlier cozier environment with my own arena, thus abusive peeps could be booted without fanfare.

Now, with h2h gone, Aces High has ceased to be a co-ed friendly environment, in my opinion.

I just want to have a good time around friendly people who don't bombard anyone with abrasive attitudes and vulgar and threatening language and whom are fun to be around and develolp skills and work as a team.

Having the .eject command for bad eggs made ALL the difference.

It's all gone now.

Why is it HiTech can not see his way clear to provide h2h only for subscribing MA pilots?

I don't know why I even ask.. Dale Addink nor anyone else at HighTech Creations cares in the least and never will... that much is obvious.

booo hooooo meanie peanie

I admit it Diablo, I've been feeling whiney and blue for over a week...

I am in the process of emotionally pulling out of aces high and the bbs all together... that last thread on women in combat zones really hurt me quite deeply. You have no idea how much.

I should have known better than to read much less ever post  to such a thread... It was a stupid stupid thing for me to do and it was a set up to be crapped on.

I am kicking myself for that. Like, what the hell difference does it make what anyone on the BBS thinks about women in combat zones anyway? zip zero nada nothing whatsoever

Jackal1 was a real bastard to me and what should I have expected? ...challanging guys like that... especially on a poorly administrated BBS forum like the O-Club?

Lazs warned me and I didn't listen to him.

You are right Lazs... about a lot of things.

I pissed Jackal1 off being uppity and he let me have it with both barrels.

I have always had issues about fairness and equity and that thread just tapped into long held-in, and deeply felt suppressed feelings.

I hold no ill will towards Jackal1; it was my fault for ever engaging in such a topic in the first place.

The way I am feeling, 2008 will not see me here again.

Even though FighterAce sucks compared to AH in my limited experience with it, at least with FA I can create an arena there. God does their flt sim modeling and aircraft differentiation suck so far...  It's like baby arcade modeling or something. I stayed with AH because of it's marvelous flight sim for each unique aircraft.

But I haven't yet tried setting up an arena there so maybe I can adjust the flight sim settings to be more realistic in a customized arena and set up team wars like the old days in h2h.

They have a BBS also... so time will tell.

hugs

all ya gotta do, is learn to watch where you stepping.
