Almost the same. I use the pinky button on the CH joystick for my up views and the the hat on the side of the throttle for the actual left, back, right, etc. views. Pressing the pinky button and my hat would give me the up-left, up-right, etc. views.
I use the top hat on my joystick to move my head around the cockpit, since I love to fly the early 109s which dont have great visibility.
I also use the CH control manager to do all my mappings, and not the AH joystick mappings... I find the CH control manager provides more options (macros to set salvos, etc. etc.) under this arrangement, my middle throttle button (the row of 3 at the front) would be my "Shift" button, the far left is my WEP, and the right one is the Clipboard map.
Enjoy the setup!
