How long did you have to sit for those cornrows?

My ex-wife was a hairdresser and used to do that crap.  I say "that crap" because girls (and guys) used to come over to the house and sit for HOURS and HOURS while she did it.

Now that's patience        

I can't sit in a chair long enough to watch an entire football game

15 minutes in hair dressers hair prep wash basin / 30 minutes to roll up all the dreads and 45 minutes under dryer !!  By the end of it all I am jumping out of my skin to get out of there ! I am lucky enough to have a 54 year old Jamaican lady who's hands are like a rolling machine !  My hair doesnt take that long because its all ready dread locked up instead of a wild crazy afro all over the place. Thats what makes it take so long ! Some people come in with hair looking like sideshow Bob    those are the ones that take hours to do .

Apache, you have an uncanny resemblance to a very good friend of mine here in town.  His dreads are a lot shorter though.  It startled me when I first say your pics man.  That's crazy.
