as of the time of this message, Bish got an 15+ eny in LW Orange, but our in flight #s are half of our total.  Something like 170ish listed, but 80 in flight.  Other sides had similiar #s in flight.   In LW Blue, Bis are backed into a corner, low side, and no one has ENY.  

I try make sense of this ENY thing, but it just does seem to work as intended.

That's the Bish's problem if half stay in tower, not ENY's.
ENY is based on total population, not numbers in flight.

The base formula is Your country % compared to lowest country %.

How many bishops were in flight compared to the those simply logged in?  You'd need to know that, I think.

I'm sympathetic to your complaint, but more so about the specific ENY values of the aircraft, which should be based on use #s instead of opinion.

Arena caps cause some players not to log when they're afk because they might not be able to get back into the arena they prefer.  It's no fun spending 15 or 20 minutes trying to get into the same arena with the rest of your squad.

When I posted this Bish had around 170ish total with 70-80 in flight in LWO.   I am sure some were AFK to eat n such.  Regardless, I logged, fighting with an unfair disadvantage is not how I want to spend my friday night.

You are saying 100 guys were AFK?

That sounds more like a bunch of squad guys wanting to hold their spots.  I've got no sympathy :)

Ehmm inspite of being unfairly disadvantaged by ENY, the Bish still managed to capture bases by applying sheer force, i.e. overwhelming numbers :rolleyes:

Unless you insist on both hording enemy fields AND flying ENY 5 latewar monster planes at the same time.

Man Wed night they ran at least 3 missions at one point. In one of the mission groups, they had a group of B17's was something like 25+ formations and then a group of B26'swith 27 formations (I counted them).. Just to capture one "small" airfield on the rook side.

The funny part was it took them 3 times to finally capture it..  :rofl

Welcome to the Rooks on a winning night, or ANY side on a winning night!

ENY does its job, restricting a side with 70+ more people than the other countries from all flying La-7's and spit-16's. As for when there are 60-70 people just sitting in the tower there's an easy fix to that, switch to another countrie or another arena.

ENY really doesn't bother me that much.
Sure when I've been trying to up an La7 for base defence it makes me pick the 5 or an il2, but apart from that I don't fly low ENY planes that often.
I find I die just a quickly in high ENY planes as the low ones.:lol
